Reactive Dog Class
A reactive dog barks and lunges at other dogs and sometimes people. It can turn into aggression if not addressed properly. We use safe and effective evidence-based training methods that teach reactive dogs to make better choices. Traditional harsh punitive methods rely on suppressing behavior which does nothing to teach the dog coping skills or help him/her feel better about anxiety producing triggers. Understand that your dog is struggling and needs help, not punishment. Ditch bootcamp-style board & train programs and learn how to actually help your dog feel better!
This class is NOT appropriate for dogs with a documented bite history of either dogs or people. Instructor evaluation and approval is required prior to attending class with the other students. The first class is an orientation without dogs. For the second class, each dog and owner will meet with instructor for a 15 minute private consultation. If it is determined that a group class environment is not appropriate for an individual dog, class fee will be credited toward private training sessions.

December 7, 2022 6:00PM (Wednesday) $290.00
